Delete your AwaPlay data

You can ask us to delete your AwaPlay account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page is also our data deletion instructions for Meta (Facebook and WhatsApp) platform users.

To request deletion, email hello@awaplay.app with the subject "Delete my AwaPlay data", from any address, and include the WhatsApp number you play with.

What happens next

We confirm the request comes from the owner of the WhatsApp number, usually by replying on WhatsApp.
Within 30 days we delete your profile (name, username, avatar and photo), your encrypted phone number, language and messaging history, feedback, and any authorisations you gave to third-party games.
Past games you played with other people stay in their history, but your name is replaced with "Deleted player" so you can no longer be identified.
We keep payment and transaction records only for as long as the law requires, then delete them.
We tell you when deletion is complete.

Only want to stop messages?

Reply STOP to the AwaPlay WhatsApp number. We will stop sending you messages without deleting your account. Reply START to turn them back on.
